What a week! I hope you all are doing great and finding a little time for yourselves and a little more balance in your lives. Right about now, we are realizing that this is hard...and twelve weeks is a LONG time! Don't give up - just do YOUR personal best! Don't let those super high points discourage you! Just set your own goals each week and strive to meet them. We all have different goals!
Keep up the pace! You are all doing amazing. And just remember, we are all doing better than we were three weeks ago!
Post your points for this week here in the comments. Don't stress if they aren't as high as you'd like. We don't judge!
352
ReplyDeleteI had 352 again. Last night I realized I was short on water and I almost had to drown myself. I'll try not to do that again, but next Sunday's going to be tough (Fast Sunday).
ReplyDeleteYour home teacher almost brought you chocolate sheet cake, but I thought that would be mean....now I'm thinking it would have been a good idea (ha ha)
DeleteDeb, you're so funny! While I would welcome a chocolate sheet cake, please don't make one for me when you already have so much to do! I love that we can have one dessert per day; it's what keeps me from quitting!!
DeleteI reached my goal! I have 300 points! And I've lost 3 pounds. Now that my treadmill is fixed I want to do even better this week. 12 weeks doesn't seem too long and I have found a good system so I am loving this!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad your treadmill is working again!
DeleteBrie, I am so happy for you! You did amazing! I wish I could find a system! :)
DeleteI had 329. My kids really need to start sleeping at night. It sure makes it hard to get my work out finished in the morning before having to get kids to school and ready for preschoolers. It's killing me! Guess I need to stock up on Benadryl! Haha! This is great for me though!
ReplyDeleteI got 352.
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteI got 348... I think Jason got 342... that scout overnighter he went on with Hunter lost him a few points this week.
ReplyDeleteI feel so bad when people miss out on points because of unavoidable situations!
DeleteI got a whopping 275.
ReplyDeleteI got 326.
ReplyDeleteKim
337 for me. It's always the dang sweets that get me in trouble! I'm still consuming so much less sugar than I was before though so I'd call this success! Good work everyone! Keep it up! Val
ReplyDeleteI got 352 this week, and I can't believe how good I'm feeling. I have a lot more energy than I did three weeks ago and I can tell that I'm getting stronger. I even lost 2 lbs, so it better stay off. I love that my kids are eating more fruits and veggies too! It makes me feel good to know that they are eating something good for them, because they get so much junk. The real test is ahead for me. I've got Jordan's 8th birthday coming up and mine a few days later and then Valentine's the week after that! Anything can happen in 9 weeks, but I'm going to give it my all, because I'm loving the results! Keep it up everyone! It really does make a difference!

This week I got 330. Boy...This sure is good challenge. Not only for the sweets but for the honesty! The other day I remembered my 'morning' prayer at 1:30 and wan'ted so bad to just make it up and call it good. I think this is making me not only more healthy but apparently more honest too. HeHeHe!!
ReplyDeleteAndrea
Wow...I should really slow down when I write and maybe even proof read before I publish. Sorry to Jenny the school teacher. :)
DeleteAndrea
Andrea, there is a reason I can't teach anything higher than preschool! :)
Delete352 I am having a rough time getting 8 hrs of sleep because I think I am used to staying up late and waking up early. I kinda miss late nights but I know it has helped me
ReplyDeleteAmy got a 325 and she promises that if her points aren't perfect this week, she will buy her favorite sister a wonderful gift!!
ReplyDeleteWeek 3 = 352
ReplyDeleteJenny, I've been debating whether I should ask you this or not, but is there any way we can see how we are doing compared to the others? It may give me more motivation.....Or maybe just depress me. :)
ReplyDeleteKim, I have it in an excel file. If you'll give me your email address, I'll send it to you. Same for anyone else who wants it. There are still a few people who haven't reported, so there are a few blanks.
ReplyDeleteKim.barfuss@loganschools.org
DeleteHow does it work for people who don't report on Monday?
ReplyDeleteI am sure some have just forgotten to post. And I know there are a couple who may not be participating anymore. I try to remember to remind everyone, but my life is too crazy to do that every week! :) If they don't post their points by the end of the competition, then we obviously know that they aren't competing with us anymore. Any other ideas?
DeleteHi! Sorry I woke up this morning and realized I hadn't posted my points yet! I had 343. Wahoo to all of you awesome inspiring friends! I was talking to Ryan and we were saying that we should have included flossing teeth in this challenge. Maybe for next time, because I don't want to confuse and mess the points up. But that would be another bad habit area to improve on. Thanks Jenny for clarifying the sweet treats vs. snacks. I agree on what you said. It is amazing how many things have sugar in them. (Even ketchup.) So I'm with you I have tried making many changes over the past few months to limit the amount of sugar not needed in our everyday foods. It does take a lot of label reading but very worth it in the meantime. :) Good luck this week everyone! Camille
ReplyDeleteFlossing would be a great one to add next time! Great idea.
DeleteHey, I posted my points on my phone on Monday...just checked and they are not here! I am at 312 for this past week!
ReplyDeleteWe forgive you Kenz! Great job!
DeleteSo I thought I posted Monday afternoon and I don't see it on here. Not great but still workin'...312
